Hello! I am Kelly Burton, and I serve as the Children’s Ministry Coordinator at Monfort Heights United Methodist Church. This fancy title simply means that I am responsible for coordinating and helping with “All Things Kids” here at the church. This ranges from the infants and children we serve in our nursery each Sunday to the after-school, weekend, and summer programs we offer.

My husband Shawn and I have been attending MHUMC for 15 years now.  Shawn and I grew up in Cincinnati and in the Northwest Schools. After some well-spent years in college, getting married, and graduate schools, we returned to the west side of Cincy to once again make it our home. It was then that we established a relationship with Monfort Heights United Methodist and soon after made it our church home. We have two children – a daughter named Annabelle, and a son, Jackson. These two kiddos, much like yours I’m guessing, keep us hoppin’ and are a constant reminder of how great our God truly is.

My purpose in making this introduction to you is to let you know that there really is a person out there who wants to connect with you. There is a person who is interested in telling you all about the programs we offer for families. There is a person, who like you, knows that it takes a village to raise good, well-rounded children these days. There is a person who knows that when God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are a part of that village the task doesn’t seem as challenging as it once did.

You will see me around on Sunday mornings during our two services and Sunday school sessions (which, by the way, are at 9:30 and 11:00) and at so many of other events, particularly if they involve children.
