SUMMARY:Special Worship Service Outside
DESCRIPTION:October 4\, we will have only ONE worship service at 10am in the parking lot.  Our hope is that the WHOLE church family will come to this one service as we gather to welcome and receive our newest members.  It will be a Festival of the Church Family celebration as we welcome our confirmands into full membership\, receive new members\, and baptize some beloveds into the Church family. \nIt will be wonderful day of celebration and rejoicing!  Everyone is invited to bring their own chair  (but we will provide chairs as well). We are working on securing a nice\, big tent to shade us from the sun\, but if the weather does not cooperate\, we will move the service into the Family Life Center. There will be more information about this service coming your way next week—and I’ve heard there will be ice cream…

DESCRIPTION:September 27\, we will have ONE indoor\, in-person worship gathering at 10am in the Family Life Center. This service will be a “soft” opening\, getting folks used to the new protocol needed to keep us all safe and able to worship together again. We will be continuing the online live stream worship option for those not ready to come back in person yet.\n \nNOTE: Outdoor worship at 8:30am in front of Asbury Chapel will continue through the end of October with weather permitting—the only exception being on October 4th.

DESCRIPTION:UPWARD – Basketball K thru 3rd grade\nSaturday – 9:00 am to 2:00 pm\nWe are thankful we can offer UPWARD basketball here at Monfort Heights UMC for boys and girls ages Kindergarten through 3rd grade. All practices and games take place in our Family Life Center. UPWARD uses the universal language of sports to connect with kids at a critical age and help them discover and build athletic skills\, values\, self-confidence and a life-long love of the game and the Lord.
